This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Accountable for the planning and design of electrical systems, emphasizing automation, safety, and conveyor technology.
• Overseeing and coordinating essential services in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Assisting in risk assessments, PL calculations, and preparation of customer documentation.
• Drafting tender documents for our suppliers.
• Offering technical support for installation activities at project sites and monitoring their progress until customer acceptance.
• Providing temporary technical leadership (subproject management for hardware engineering) during project execution.
• Engaging in project and construction meetings.
• A degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
• Alternatively, completion of training as a technician (m/f/d) or master craftsman (m/f/d).
• Professional experience in the automation sector.
• Familiarity with functional safety for machines and systems.
• Proficient in the application of machinery directives and relevant standards.
• Experience with standard bus systems such as Ethernet, PROFINET, and PROFIBUS.
• Experience in electrical design utilizing RUPLAN / EPLAN within sorting and distribution technology (BHS / Parcel).
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
