Handson Engineering Manager – OpenCTI Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct structured and productive one-on-one meetings and annual reviews to facilitate individual growth.

• Establish clear objectives and expectations for each team member, ensuring alignment with their career aspirations and Filigran's objectives.

• Maintain complete visibility of all ongoing tasks and their progress consistently.

• Be responsible for estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) - foresee potential blockers, highlight risks early, and ensure timely delivery.

• Actively question the Product team's definitions, priorities, timelines, and roadmap trade-offs.

• Write, review, and merge code on a daily basis — this is a primary focus, not a secondary task.

• Provide insightful pull request reviews that enhance code quality and support the growth of teammates.

• Manage technical deliverables comprehensively with the team, from design and architecture through to implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, possessing strong technical expertise and a solid foundation in Python.

• More than 3 years of experience in team management, with a preference for backgrounds in start-up or scale-up settings.

• Experience in building distributed systems or integration platforms, along with a solid understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and third-party ecosystem connectivity.

• A strong interest in AI and its applications within the field of cybersecurity.

• Comfortable using and leveraging AI-driven tools (such as LLMs, automation, copilots, etc.) to enhance workflows and productivity.

• Proficient in working within a remote, asynchronous-first environment.

• Demonstrates autonomy, ownership, and a collaborative team spirit.
