Hands-On Tech Lead – PropTech, Real Estate Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation of comprehensive features for a streamlined team, making sensible compromises between quick delivery and the sustainability of code quality.

• Stay actively involved in writing clean, production-ready code throughout the complete full-stack TypeScript environment.

• Advance beyond simple implementations to implement tailored agentic workflows, state machine logic, and personalized RAG pipelines.

• Develop custom guardrails, traceability frameworks, and algorithms for confidence and quality to quantitatively assess, test, and validate the reliability of LLM outputs.

• Transform high-level, vague concepts into functional, operational code swiftly, prioritizing immediate execution over extensive architectural discussions.

• Set up stringent code review procedures, testing practices, and standards for the responsible and mature utilization of AI coding assistants within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mastery of TypeScript with extensive experience in utilizing advanced patterns (e.g., Generics and Discriminated Unions) to enhance shipping efficiency.

• In-depth Node.js expertise, with a strong preference for Mastra or a proven history of creating custom state-machine-driven backend logic.

• Strong skills in contemporary web development; while our primary stack is SvelteKit, React or Vue experts who can swiftly adapt to new frameworks are highly encouraged to apply.

• A proven record of implementing practical LLM-powered features or agents, along with a solid comprehension of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety.

• Frequent, advanced use of next-generation engineering assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to automate boilerplate tasks, combined with the engineering discipline to manually troubleshoot syntax issues swiftly.

• The capability to navigate the entire web stack independently without being hindered by business-logic obstacles or fundamental syntax issues.

• Exceptional English communication skills, with the ability to thrive in an asynchronous, highly autonomous work environment.
