Hands-On Tech Lead – PropTech, Real Estate Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead Technical Execution: Oversee the development of comprehensive features for a streamlined team, making practical trade-offs between swift delivery and long-term code sustainability.

• Ship from the Front: Stay actively involved by writing clean, production-ready code throughout the entire full-stack TypeScript environment.

• Architect AI & Agentic Systems: Advance beyond basic implementations to implement custom agentic workflows, state machine logic, and tailored RAG pipelines.

• Engineer Trust & Reliability: Develop custom safeguards, traceability frameworks, and quality algorithms to quantitatively assess, test, and validate LLM output reliability.

• Execute with Ambiguity: Convert high-level, uncertain concepts into functional, working code swiftly, prioritizing immediate execution over prolonged architectural discussions.

• Set Engineering Standards: Implement stringent code review procedures, testing practices, and guidelines for the responsible and mature utilization of AI coding assistants within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Language Expertise: Mastery of TypeScript with extensive comfort in utilizing advanced patterns (e.g., Generics and Discriminated Unions) to enhance shipping efficiency.

• Backend Foundations: Profound expertise in Node.js, with a strong preference for Mastra or a solid history of creating custom state-machine-driven backend logic.

• Frontend Frameworks: Strong skills in modern web development; our primary stack is SvelteKit, but React or Vue experts with the ability to quickly adapt to new frameworks are warmly welcomed.

• Production AI Experience: Proven experience in deploying practical LLM-powered features or agents, coupled with a robust understanding of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety.

• Pragmatic AI Tooling: Advanced, daily utilization of next-gen engineering assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to automate boilerplate, combined with the discipline to manually debug syntax issues efficiently.

• Elite Full-Stack Generalist: Capability to navigate the entire web stack independently without being hindered by business-logic obstacles or basic syntax issues.
