Hadoop Product Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of intricate customer environments.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Enhance the reliability of data processing systems based on Hadoop and Spark.

• Work closely with customer engineering teams to deliver high-throughput applications using Hadoop and Spark.

• Address complex data challenges during migrations and upgrades.

• Ensure system reliability and optimize performance after migration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Hadoop environments.

• Proficient in core Hadoop services (HDFS, YARN, and Hive/Impala) and possess a solid understanding of Kafka, NiFi, Ambari, and the internals of Cloudera Manager.

• Extensive experience in troubleshooting and debugging Hadoop components.

• Advanced skills in configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting Red Hat and Debian-based distributions.

• Familiarity with Python, Bash, or Scala for system automation and performance monitoring is a plus.
