GWTG-CAD Abstractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reviews patient medical records and extracts data for the GWTG-CAD Registry.

• Accurately and consistently applies registry specifications, definitions, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines.

• Analyzes clinical documentation related to cardiac catheterization, PCI procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, complications, and relevant quality measures.

• Inputs precise and complete data into designated registry platforms, EHRs, vendor tools, or other data collection systems.

• Upholds a high standard of abstraction accuracy, thoroughness, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Achieves assigned productivity targets, weekly progress objectives, and internal as well as client deadlines.

• Engages in quality assurance initiatives, including feedback, correction, validation, and inter-rater reliability reviews.

• Professionally communicates with account leads, team members, and client contacts when clarification is necessary.

• Adheres to strict confidentiality and complies with ADN, client, HIPAA, and data security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in GWTG-CAD Registry abstraction.

• Capability to independently abstract GWTG-CAD cases utilizing registry specifications and clinical documentation.

• Strong comprehension of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation review, and medical record interpretation.

• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through.

• Comfort in working within various EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and assigned data collection systems.

• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.

• Contractors are required to have high-speed, secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors.
