Guidewire QA Analysts, Engineers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire projects based on business needs and functional specifications.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.

• Ensure Guidewire configurations, product model modifications, workflow logic, and integration points meet established acceptance criteria.

• Work closely with Guidewire Business Analysts and developers to confirm that requirements are testable, acceptance criteria are well-defined, and defects are actionable.

• Record, monitor, and communicate defects throughout the entire defect lifecycle using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as an integral part of the delivery team.

• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by liaising with business stakeholders, preparing test environments, and facilitating approvals.

• Contribute to test automation initiatives when applicable, including the development or upkeep of automated test scripts within Guidewire environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance or software testing experience in a professional delivery setting.

• Practical experience testing within at least one Guidewire product — PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.

• Proven ability to design and execute test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.

• Experience testing across various layers — UI, API, integration, and data — within intricate multi-system environments.

• Proficient with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the capability to clearly communicate defects and their business implications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for collaboration with both technical and business stakeholder groups.
