Growth Engineer, Computer Science Background

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist in all aspects of the experimentation processes within the Growth team.

• Develop, analyze, and engage in every component of the Growth workstreams.

• Collaborate with both the Product Development team and the Data Science team.

• Acquire and enhance skills in growth product management and product management.

• Conduct peer reviews of Growth code and support code reviews for Growth experiments.

• Facilitate experiment launches using Google Firebase.

• Troubleshoot code and collaborate closely with the product development team.

• Aid in quality assurance for new features prior to their release.

• Review experiment analyses with peers.

• Take ownership of translating successful experiments into multiple languages and across platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possesses a background in software engineering.

• Demonstrates strong confidence in JSON & JAVA or Javascript (experience with SQL is a plus).

• Comfortable with concepts of statistical significance and common types of statistical biases.

• Familiar with the fundamentals of effective experimental design.

• Displays a passion for growth, metrics, and delivering an exceptional user experience.

• Data-driven and analytical in approach.

• An interest in behavioral science and a passion for learning is advantageous.

• Ideally holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, or any technical major, or has relevant work experience.

• Has prior experience designing and conducting AB/RCT trials.

• Understands the subtleties of effective experimental design.

• A background in data science is a plus.

• Interest or background in machine learning is beneficial.
