Growth Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design and manage the A/B testing framework for our website and mobile application.

• Develop data pipelines that accurately capture user interactions and present experiment outcomes in a clear and timely manner.

• Implement analytics instrumentation to ensure we consistently understand current activities and their underlying reasons.

• Execute test variations ranging from content adjustments to new onboarding processes and feature trials.

• Establish success metrics and assess the genuine impact of each modification.

• Examine results, document insights, and convert findings into actionable next steps.

• Actively formulate hypotheses based on data, user behavior, and best practices observed in high-growth organizations.

• Prioritize and propose ideas for approval; take full responsibility for executing approved experiments.

• Maintain close alignment with product and business teams to pinpoint the most significant growth opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering capabilities, adept at working across web, mobile, and backend systems.

• Experience in developing or engaging with A/B testing frameworks and analytics pipelines.

• Data-driven approach: adept at designing effective experiments, interpreting results honestly, and steering clear of common issues like p-hacking or novelty effects.

• Possess product intuition; you think from the user's perspective and naturally conceive ideas that could enhance activation, retention, or conversion.

• Proactive attitude and sense of ownership; you don't wait for direction on what to build next.

• Familiarity with growth strategies employed by consumer technology companies.

• Nice to Have

• Experience as the initial or sole growth engineer at a startup.

• Background in growth, lifecycle, or product analytics roles.

• Familiarity with tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, LaunchDarkly, or similar.
