Group Product Manager, Financial Systems

📋 Description

• Articulate the vision, roadmap, and essential technical requirements for our comprehensive Contract-to-Ledger ecosystem, ensuring that our billing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting systems are designed for sustainable scalability.

• Act as a strategic partner for our finance and executive leadership teams, working closely with business units to translate intricate commercial strategies and accounting policies into effective system logic.

• Take full ownership of the product backlog, functional data schemas, and software functionalities.

• Streamline operational processes by designing automated system validation gates, leveraging the inherent capabilities of our technology stack to eliminate manual workarounds.

• Create a robust enterprise data handshake that positions our business for readiness in the public market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Product Management, including direct oversight of Product Managers.

• Extensive, hands-on experience managing product management or enterprise architecture across the Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Hire-To-Pay lifecycles. You are well-versed in accounting systems language and possess a deep understanding of deferred revenue schemas, automated billing schedules, accounts receivable aging logic, and ERP functionalities.

• Advanced operational experience in managing configurations, data integrations, and subscription modules within enterprise systems—particularly Salesforce Billing, NetSuite ERP, NetSuite ARM, Rippling, Carta, Fidelity, or specialized subscription management platforms (like ZoneBilling).

• A proven history of functioning as a consultative peer to executive stakeholders rather than merely an order-taker. You have the ability to adeptly navigate competing business needs, advocate for system scalability, and assist business units in aligning on repeatable, standardized processes before committing to technical code.

• Demonstrated excellence in managing a technical product backlog, refining user stories, and prioritizing tasks. You take pride in your technical ownership and excel in creating detailed functional specifications, schemas, and technical execution criteria.

• Experience in effectively structuring, directing, and holding external implementation partners or technical consultants accountable to clear co-delivery milestones while maintaining control over the core product strategy internally.
