This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Assist clients in the Government, Public Sector, and Infrastructure Sector.
• Deliver HNRTC Facilitator/Administrative Assistant Support services for The Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office.
• Facilitate a smooth, consensus-driven decision-making process during Council meetings.
• Collaborate with the Council Chair to schedule meetings and arrange agendas.
• Work with the Administrative Assistant to ensure comprehensive meeting support.
• Provide documentation for facilitated meetings.
• Draft and disseminate key aspects and outcomes of facilitated meetings within five working days following the meeting.
• Prepare and distribute resolutions and other Council deliverables after meetings.
• Must have consecutive employment in a role with similar responsibilities within the last five (5) years.
• Ability to use a computer for email communication is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools and technologies needed for the position.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is necessary.
• Experience in managing diverse interests and contentious issues is preferred.
• Knowledge of facilitating discussions among diverse stakeholders to achieve consensus is crucial.
• Certification as a Professional Facilitator is preferred.
• Experience in facilitating engagement with tribal, state, and federal stakeholders is desirable.
• Familiarity with environmental law, especially the natural resource damage assessment (NRDA) aspects of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Department of Interior regulations and guidelines related to NRDA is preferred.
• Understanding of applicable treaties, including the Treaties of 1855, and the rights and acknowledgment of Tribal trustees as sovereign nations with traditional cultural interests in the landscapes and resources at the Hanford Site is preferred.
• Ability to identify any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory - candidates must be United States Citizens.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
• All ProSidian personnel must be deemed eligible for a "Facility Access Authorization" (also known as "Employment Authorization") by the USG's designated Security Office.
• Employees have the option to work remotely.
