This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Assist clients in the Government, Public Sector, and Infrastructure Sector
• Provide facilitation support for the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB)
• Create and distribute schedules, agendas, and work plans for HAB meetings
• Collaborate with representatives from DOE, Ecology, and EPA to ensure timely and suitable agenda topics
• Maintain effective communication with agency representatives
• Develop and circulate the HAB Annual Report
• Support Ecology’s Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey
• Manage a HAB library in accordance with FACA guidelines
• Oversee and assist with administrative processes
• At least five (5) years of consecutive employment in a similar role
• Proficient in using a computer to communicate via email
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools
• Four years of pertinent experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
• Experience in managing diverse interests and contentious issues
• Proven track record of facilitating consensus among diverse stakeholder groups
• Certified Professional Facilitator (preferred)
• Experience working with tribal, state, and federal stakeholders (preferred)
• Familiarity with environmental law, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) (preferred)
• Understanding of the tri-party agreement and relevant treaties, such as the Treaties of 1855, and recognition of Tribal trustees as sovereign nations (preferred)
• Ability to identify conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest involving Hanford Site contractors
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Must qualify for Facility Access Authorization
