This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Offer facilitation and comprehensive support services to the DOE in its efforts with the HAB.
• Organize and disseminate all HAB meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans.
• Maintain continuous, effective communication with agency representatives.
• Prepare and circulate the HAB Annual Report as requested by the DOE Federal Coordinator.
• Assist with the Ecology’s Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey.
• Manage a HAB library in accordance with FACA guidelines.
• Oversee and support the execution of administrative procedures established by the Board.
• Continuous employment in a role with similar responsibilities within the last five (5) years.
• Proficient in computer usage for email communication and skilled in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
• Experience managing diverse interests and contentious issues.
• Proven experience in facilitating groups of varied stakeholders to achieve consensus decisions.
• Certification as a Professional Facilitator (preferred).
• Experience in facilitating discussions among tribal, state, and federal stakeholders (preferred).
• Familiarity with environmental law, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) (preferred).
• Understanding of tri-party agreements and relevant treaties.
