This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Provide support to clients in the Government, Public Sector, and Infrastructure Sector, collaborating with ProSidian Team Members as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to deliver Facilitation Support for the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB) and the U.S. Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office.
• Deliver facilitation and general support services to the DOE in alignment with its objectives involving the HAB.
• Organize and disseminate all HAB meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans in coordination with the DOE HAB Coordinator(s) or their delegate, representatives from the Washington State Department of Ecology and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the HAB Chairperson, and the HAB Executive Issues Committee.
• Ensure that committee and Board agenda topics are included in the agenda promptly.
• Maintain open, consistent, and effective communication with agency representatives, including the DOE Federal Coordinator(s), HAB leadership, members, and issue managers.
• Prepare and distribute the HAB Annual Report as requested by the DOE Federal Coordinator.
• Support Ecology's Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey by conducting the survey and providing the results to the Federal Coordinator.
• Maintain a HAB library in accordance with FACA guidelines.
• Monitor and assist in implementing administrative procedures as developed by the Board.
• Consecutive employment in a role with similar responsibilities within the last five (5) years.
• Proficiency in using a computer for email communication and expertise in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools and technologies necessary for the position.
• Work products must be comprehensive, precise, properly documented, and adhere to established criteria.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Experience in managing diverse interests and handling contentious issues.
• Proven experience in facilitating groups of diverse stakeholders to achieve consensus decisions.
• Certification as a Professional Facilitator is preferred.
• Experience in facilitating discussions among tribal, state, and federal stakeholders is preferred.
• Familiarity with environmental law, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), is preferred.
• Understanding of the tri-party agreement and relevant treaties, including the Treaties of 1855, as well as the rights and recognition of Tribal trustees as sovereign nations with traditional cultural interests in the landscapes and resources at the Hanford Site is preferred.
• Ability to identify potential conflicts or perceived conflicts of interest with any contractors associated with the Hanford Site.
• U.S. Citizenship is required - candidates must be United States Citizens.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
• All ProSidian staff must be deemed eligible for “Facility Access Authorization” (also known as “Employment Authorization”) by the designated Security Office of the USG.
• May be required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement.
• Must be able to undergo and qualify for various levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
