Group Leader – Vertical Telecom

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead the daily operations of the Vertical Telecom group, establishing performance objectives that align with both team and company-wide goals.

• Contribute to the vision and strategy for the team's growth. Supervise a dynamic and expanding group across various offices and states, promoting collaboration and technical advancement.

• Manage project delivery from initiation to completion—ensuring that schedules, budgets, and technical execution meet our high standards.

• Foster and maintain client relationships through proactive communication, strategic insights, and exceptional service.

• Support the strategic expansion of the telecom practice through business development, client strategy, and leadership in proposals.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to team members, enabling them to excel in their careers.

• Monitor team performance, utilization, and staffing needs to ensure projects progress smoothly and team members are supported.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, landscape architecture, or a related field is preferred. An associate degree with equivalent experience will also be considered.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in telecom, low-voltage systems, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of experience supervising technical personnel, with a solid record of mentorship and team leadership.

• Strong knowledge of telecom design practices, building codes, and project delivery methods.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license or RCDD certification is preferred.

• Proficient in CAD/BIM software and telecom design tools.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven capacity to manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
