This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide strategic leadership within your group: establish long-term growth strategies, operational KPIs, and areas for innovation.
• Assist in the development of AI adoption roadmaps that effectively enhance efficiency or customer value.
• Mentor business unit leaders and their teams: facilitate best practices, encourage knowledge sharing across units, and nurture a high-performance culture.
• Offer light coaching on opportunities and readiness related to AI and automation.
• Ensure operational excellence: track and stimulate recurring revenue growth, profitability, churn/net retention, customer satisfaction, implementation speed, and cost-to-serve.
• Oversee acquisition integration: serve as Integration Manager for newly acquired entities; manage the commercial, operational, and back-office integration into the CORA model.
• Identify integration possibilities where AI and automation can enhance processes.
• Lead and assist in product innovation: aid business unit leaders in assessing enhancements to product strategy and customer experience.
• When applicable, evaluate the feasibility of incorporating ML, predictive analytics, or generative AI features linked to customer value.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of vertical markets: examine market dynamics, competitive landscape, reasons for wins/losses, pricing optimization, and positioning.
• Distribute key metrics across business units: align objectives with corporate goals and routinely review progress through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Foster data-driven decision-making: lead financial reporting and forecasting, identify efficiencies, and challenge underperforming units.
• Promote the use of analytics or automation tools that enhance forecasting or reporting accuracy.
• Act as a change agent: instill the CORA/Jonas culture, advocate for innovation, and ensure that decentralization does not undermine discipline.
• Over 10 years of leadership experience in the software industry, preferably in vertical SaaS.
• Demonstrated success in scaling multiple businesses, both through organic growth and M&A integration.
• Strong capability in leadership and people development.
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing, decentralized environment with a strong focus on execution.
• Financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
• Background in guiding teams to identify or evaluate AI/automation opportunities is a significant advantage (not mandatory).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or relevant graduate education is preferred.
