This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Complete all onboarding tasks within 2 weeks of your start date.
• Schedule monthly check-ins with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director.
• Promptly respond to all email and Slack communications within 48 hours of receipt.
• Review the curriculum relevant to your group assignment prior to the start time.
• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early to the scheduled group session and facilitate the entire hour.
• Conduct groups in accordance with Charlie Health best practices while utilizing the most current curriculum provided by Charlie Health.
• Create a supportive environment and assist clients in activities aimed at developing skills for long-term recovery.
• Facilitate groups across various age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as necessary.
• Encourage client engagement and group cohesion throughout the session, promoting participation and a camera-on culture.
• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.
• Participate in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other Clinical Leadership team members.
• Work collaboratively and respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.
• Ensure all treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meets agency and professional standards as per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards.
• Uphold and model professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Candidates must possess addiction credentials (CADC-I, CADC-II, CADC-III, CATC I, II, III, IV, V, SUD-CC, RAS, RAS-i, MATS, APCC, ASW, AMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).
• Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT, Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays is essential to accommodate our adolescent and young adult clients.
• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (see below for a full list).
• Experience working with youth and young adults is necessary.
• Proficiency in a range of therapeutic modalities with the confidence to integrate them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR; certification in MI is a plus).
• Previous experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment is mandatory, with a solid understanding of both abstinence and harm reduction models.
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is required.
• A strong passion for the benefits of group treatment and demonstrated skill in conducting group therapy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Creative and engaging, particularly in a video format!
• Technical proficiency to conduct effective telehealth sessions.
• A reliable WIFI connection is necessary for client meetings.
• Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication tools—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—along with EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.
