This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary HR partner for segment leadership, ensuring alignment of human capital strategies with business goals.
• Assist in workforce planning initiatives, particularly focusing on skilled trades and hard-to-fill positions.
• Promote a robust safety-first culture in collaboration with operations and EHS.
• Enhance performance management practices that emphasize accountability and outcomes.
• Advocate for the implementation of HR processes, tools, and systems throughout the group.
• Foster continuous improvement within the HR department.
• Lead investigations related to employee hotline inquiries.
• Conduct HR audit reviews, adopting a partnership approach to safeguard the organization and its employees.
• Evaluate HR teams for potential development opportunities.
• Mentor HR leads and facilitate training requirements as necessary.
• Keep The McWane Way central to all interactions.
• Cultivate relationships with operations through various communication channels and site visits.
• Proven success in supporting multi-site, hourly workforce demographics.
• Established ability to influence senior business leaders and achieve results.
• Experience in leading HR functions in decentralized, complex, and operationally demanding environments.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Minimum of 3 years in HR team leadership roles.
• Must possess a strategic mindset, business acumen, and the capability to influence effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership in business contexts, including strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with complex HCM systems.
• Understanding of HR employment law at both state and federal levels.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.
