This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Lead and establish the Commercial Growth function across the entire group.
β’ Create frameworks for commercial growth that encompass customer segmentation, value-based selling, upselling/cross-selling strategies, and account expansion initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with portfolio leaders to pinpoint and pursue organic revenue opportunities.
β’ Implement commercial performance dashboards, playbooks, and benchmarks.
β’ Oversee the group's pricing strategy and facilitate pricing reviews for acquisitions and core business operations.
β’ Formulate dynamic pricing models, discount frameworks, and monetization strategies.
β’ Integrate pricing governance across contracts and markets.
β’ Conduct assessments of commercial health focusing on pricing maturity, sales processes, packaging, and product-market alignment.
β’ Execute targeted commercial interventions for businesses that are underperforming.
β’ Assist with strategic bids, contract renewals, competitive positioning, and customer value propositions.
β’ Organize commercial training sessions, share best practices, and enhance capabilities.
β’ Implement commercial analytics, including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), price realization, churn, retention, and cohort analysis.
β’ Define KPIs and reporting structures for the Group CEO and board.
β’ Ensure decision-making is informed by data, market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
β’ Demonstrated senior leadership experience in commercial strategy, revenue optimization, or pricing leadership, preferably within multi-business or private-equity contexts.
β’ Proven track record in building and scaling high-performing commercial or pricing teams.
β’ Strong expertise in pricing science, margin management, and value-based pricing methodologies.
β’ Highly analytical with a solid understanding of financial principles.
β’ Capability to influence at the executive level and effectively navigate diverse business cultures.
β’ Experience in software, technology, or services organizations is preferred.
β’ Ability to work from Wallingford, Oxfordshire, or flexibly within the portfolio.
β’ 37.5 hours scheduled each week.
