This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creative vision for a range of 4–10 simultaneous experiential programs, guaranteeing that each project achieves exceptional creative quality, strategic insight, and design excellence.
• Develop innovative experiential concepts, creative territories, experience platforms, and strategic narratives that forge meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.
• Convert business goals, audience insights, and cultural trends into pioneering experiential opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Strategy, Creative Directors, and Design Directors during the initial phases of development to shape concepts, define creative direction, and lay strong strategic foundations prior to execution.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions, workshops, and creative reviews that motivate interdisciplinary teams and enhance the quality of the output.
• Maintain ongoing creative oversight throughout all development phases, ensuring ideas evolve while preserving their initial vision and creative integrity.
• Evaluate creative work daily across various mediums including presentations, environments, campaigns, content, copy, design systems, motion, and experiential executions, providing clear, actionable feedback that enhances both the work and the team.
• Advocate for excellence in every aspect of the experience, ensuring that each creative decision, from the overarching concept to the minutest detail, contributes to a cohesive, memorable, and beautifully crafted final product.
• Exercise exceptional creative judgment and taste, refining work at both the conceptual and executional level, including typography, layout, color, copy, storytelling, visual hierarchy, pacing, and overall design quality.
• Create compelling creative presentations and confidently articulate ideas, creative rationale, and strategic thinking to senior clients and stakeholders, acting as the senior creative voice for the account.
• Establish and uphold consistent creative standards across multidisciplinary teams, including full-time and freelance Creative Directors, Design Directors, Art Directors, Designers, and Copywriters.
• Direct the daily creative output of the team by providing ongoing mentorship, feedback, creative problem-solving, and hands-on guidance throughout each project.
• Get involved in projects whenever additional creative leadership is necessary, aiding teams in overcoming obstacles, enhancing ideas, refining execution, and elevating work at any project stage.
• Act as a trusted creative partner to clients, shaping future opportunities through strategic thinking, creative leadership, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Work closely with Strategy, Production, and Account teams to balance creative ambitions with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and technical feasibility.
• Identify creative opportunities, risks, and solutions throughout all development phases.
• Stay actively engaged through production, fabrication, installation, and launch to ensure the final experience aligns with the intended creative vision.
• Participate in post-project reviews to gather insights and continuously elevate the agency's creative standards.
• Cultivate a collaborative culture rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, experimentation, and ongoing creative growth.
• Help shape the agency's creative culture, processes, talent development, and standards of creative excellence.
• At least 15 years of creative leadership experience in experiential marketing, brand experience, environmental design, retail, or integrated agency environments.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary creative teams across large-scale, complex experiential programs.
• An exemplary portfolio showcasing both visionary conceptual thinking and outstanding executional craft.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while remaining deeply engaged in the daily creative development of each.
• Extensive expertise in experiential design, art direction, environmental graphics, spatial storytelling, and immersive brand experiences.
• Strong comprehension of experiential production, fabrication processes, materials, and production workflows.
• Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and client communication skills, with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
• Outstanding creative judgment with meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to design excellence.
• Proven ability to balance creative ambition with practical execution, delivering exceptional work within fast-paced agency timelines.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring creative talent and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
