This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more state.
• Manage and coordinate the monthly and quarterly financial close for all Syncron entities.
• Ensure precise consolidation of financial results at the group level.
• Develop group-level management reports and financial analyses for Syncron executives.
• Serve as a finance business partner for the Expert Services organization.
• Analyze service revenues, project margins, overall XS profitability, and financial forecasts.
• Create key-metric reports and engage in monthly business reviews.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting for the Syncron Group.
• Integrate inputs, formulate group-level forecasts, conduct scenario analyses, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Compile management reports and performance packs for executive leadership and the Board.
• Evaluate financial documents and transactions to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Enhance financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Promote automation and efficiency in consolidation and reporting.
• Ensure uniform application of group accounting policies.
• Mentor junior controlling staff and provide support to senior finance colleagues.
• Share knowledge and offer feedback on intricate analyses.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Controlling/FP&A with a proven track record in financial analyses and reporting for a multi-entity organization.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday Adaptive and Planful.
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI.
• Strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in English.
• ACCA, CIMA, or CPA certification completed or in progress is advantageous.
• Background in a SaaS or technology company is a plus.
• Proven experience in process improvements or finance system implementations is beneficial.
• Advanced data analysis skills, including SQL and data lakes, are a plus.
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects is an advantage.
