This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Efficiently manage a portfolio of clients within the 400+ employee market segment.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with consultants and advisors.
• Collaborate closely with consultants and advisors to ensure client satisfaction.
• Achieve annual financial, growth, persistency, and profitability goals for the designated business segment.
• Foster and expand existing relationships with clients and consultants/advisors.
• Provide exceptional service while communicating Manulife’s value proposition and offerings.
• Represent Manulife in a professional manner during client-facing engagements.
• Counsel clients and consultants/advisors on relevant changes.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, services, and operational processes.
• Build and enhance relationships within the region.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel as needed.
• Proven success in a similar position at Manulife, with another insurer, or within the Group Benefits sector.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Capability to negotiate and effectively influence across the organization.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• Strategic thinking skills with the ability to present innovative solutions to clients and consultants/advisors.
• Exceptional project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• A proactive and ambitious mindset.
• Ability to take initiative, manage oneself effectively, and demonstrate integrity.
• Willingness to become an expert in Group Benefit strategies.
• CEBS Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation or the ability to obtain it within three years.
• Proficient in PC skills, including internet usage, email, and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
