
Ground Operations Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Manual removal of vegetation from work locations
• Application of pesticides
• Safe operation of various forestry machinery (such as skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs)
• Conducting line clearance, pruning, and tree removals
• Must be available to work 45 hours per week
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent
• Must hold a current and valid driver's license along with reliable transportation
• Must be capable of working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be physically capable of fulfilling the job's demands (e.g., walking on uneven terrain, lifting 75 lbs.)
• Must be willing to work at different heights
• Must be eager and able to learn how to operate a bucket truck and handle equipment safely
• Must be willing and able to acquire a CDL A or B license
• Must be prepared to obtain and sustain licenses and certifications as required for career advancement
• Must successfully complete a post-offer physical and drug screening, as well as a background and motor vehicle check
