Graphic Designer, PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create innovative collateral while adhering to deadlines.

• Projects will encompass biannual editions of Westminster Magazine, printed issues of Point of Contact (newsletter), as well as digital and printed materials for event promotion (flyers, advertisements, invitations, etc.), mailers, email templates, social media content, and other relevant assets.

• Collaborate with team members on brainstorming, editing, and executing as required.

• Stay updated on design software and trends to ensure quality standards are met, effectively representing Westminster’s brand in a relevant manner.

• Occasionally produce storyboards, mockups, and illustration files with design notes for animation projects; collaborate with videographers to create visually engaging video content.

• Analyze competitor materials to identify strategic design opportunities for Westminster’s marketing efforts.

• Ensure that all creative materials comply with Westminster’s brand guidelines.

• Maintain an organized file system on DropBox or Google Drive to facilitate easy access to assets for the entire team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required professional graphic design experience.

• Preferred prior experience in creating design materials for digital marketing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mandatory: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).

• Experience with print mediums (magazines or similar materials).

• Typesetting experience.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.

• Comfortable creating print and digital collateral for various channels.

• A natural design aesthetic that aligns with Westminster’s brand guidelines.

• Minimal need for guidance to maintain branding consistency across different mediums.

• A proactive approach and a creative mindset.

• Familiarity with the audiences and content generated by Christian organizations such as Bible Project, Ligonier, Desiring God, and The Gospel Coalition is a plus.

• Awareness of Westminster’s competitors and partner institutions is an advantage.
