Graphic Designer – Brand & Editorial Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create polished and visually appealing materials that adhere to existing brand guidelines.

• Design layouts for journals, workbooks, booklets, conversation cards, posters, event materials, downloadable resources, and other branded products.

• Develop a cohesive visual system across various materials and formats.

• Implement principles of typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, and visual composition.

• Prepare designs for both digital applications and professional printing.

• Interpret creative direction and convert concepts or content into captivating visual designs.

• Offer creative suggestions and design recommendations while ensuring brand consistency.

• Collaborate with clients to refine ideas and integrate feedback.

• Ensure that final designs are polished, accurate, and ready for production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in graphic design, editorial design, or brand design.

• Strong portfolio showcasing layout, typography, print design, and longer-form publications.

• Experience in designing workbooks, journals, booklets, brochures, cards, or similar materials.

• In-depth understanding of branding and visual consistency.

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent tools.

• Keen attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sensibility.

• Ability to work autonomously, interpret brand guidelines, and contribute innovative ideas.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients.

• Preferred: experience with print production and the preparation of print-ready files.

• Preferred: experience in creating branded products or educational/resource materials.

• Preferred: background in working with established brand guidelines.

• Preferred: strong editorial and visual storytelling abilities.
