This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop accessible, visually engaging, and user-friendly interfaces for OAA applications and platforms.
• Produce user-centered designs utilizing Bootstrap, jQuery, and centralized CSS files.
• Collaborate with both front-end and back-end developers to incorporate designs into the .NET Core C# and Power Platform environment.
• Generate additional website graphics as needed using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other graphic design tools.
• Ensure all designs comply with Section 508, ADA, and WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA standards.
• Maintain visual consistency and uphold design standards across the OAA application portfolio.
• Assist in wireframing, creating site diagrams, and developing site maps in collaboration with the Business Analyst.
• Address accessibility issues in existing UI and graphic assets.
• Manage assigned tasks within an annual effort not exceeding 250 hours.
• A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. No equivalents or substitutions for the degree requirement will be considered.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a graphic designer with a focus on user-centered design and accessibility.
• Strong proficiency in Bootstrap, jQuery, and centralized CSS files.
• Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Proven experience designing in alignment with Section 508 / WCAG 2.0 AA standards.
• Capable of working effectively on a part-time, task-based workload.
• Must have continuously resided in the United States for the last 36 months.
