This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Executes pre-award responsibilities in alignment with specific proposal guidelines and terms and conditions.

• Collaborates with faculty on the preparation and submission of proposals.

• Oversees budgeting, analysis, and justifications for proposals.

• Acts as a liaison among the Chair, Faculty, and Department Administrators (DAs).

• Remains informed about federal and university advancements related to research administration and complex regulations.

• Prepares and reviews all necessary agency forms for submission.

• Monitors and assists the Principal Investigator (PI) in submitting annual agency reports.

• Submits the final progress report and invention statement (if applicable) to the relevant agency.

• Manages and oversees the budgets of sponsored projects, ensuring timely expenditures and accurate reconciliation of funds.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or experience may be accepted in lieu of minimum educational requirements.

• Relevant experience of 2 years.

• Familiarity with RMS (Research Management System) and SUBS.

• Understanding of agency guidelines.

• Skills: Accounting, Adobe Acrobat, Analytical Thinking, Computerized Accounting, Computer Literacy, Deadline Management, Grant Administration, IBM Cognos Analytics, Interpersonal Communication, Learning New Technologies, Maintaining Composure, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Oral Communications, Workday Software, Written Communication.
