This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Traveling throughout your region to engage with dairy farmers, gaining insights into their operations, challenges, and how Halter can enhance their business.
• Prospecting: developing your pipeline from the ground up, qualifying leads, and overseeing the complete sales cycle from initial conversation to signed agreement.
• Conducting on-farm demonstrations that convert skeptics into advocates.
• Networking at field days, rural gatherings, and within agricultural communities to promote Halter's brand.
• Collaborating with your Regional Sales Manager to forecast your pipeline and continuously refine your sales approach.
• You have recently graduated (or are about to) with a degree in agriculture, business, science, or any field that has equipped you with strong analytical and work ethic skills.
• You possess a genuine connection to farming—whether you grew up on a farm, studied it, worked in it, or have a deep passion for it.
• You are competitive, setting goals for yourself and persisting until you achieve them.
• You are the kind of individual who embraces challenges rather than shying away from them.
• You exhibit resilience; understanding that setbacks are part of the journey, you learn quickly, adapt, and emerge stronger.
• You can establish trust rapidly with individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially farmers who may have encountered numerous pitches before.
• You have a strong desire for personal growth, aspiring to be a better version of yourself in six months than you are today.
• You possess a full New Zealand driver's license and are prepared to travel frequently within your region.
• Comprehensive sales training of the highest quality.
