Grader, Languages – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately assess and evaluate student performance in Spanish and French according to a grading rubric.

• Collaborate with the course Lead to deliver constructive, supportive, and succinct feedback to students.

• Complete grading rubrics and provide thorough feedback and comments for the learners.

• Review student submissions for plagiarism and grammar accuracy.

• Offer in-context feedback and scoring using the rubric provided by Sophia.

• Engage in calibration activities to ensure consistent quality for our learners.

• Proficiency in Spanish and French as subject matter.

• Strong skills in prioritization and time management.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Demonstrates sound judgment in decision-making.

• Capability to keep precise records.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Current or prior experience teaching Spanish and French at the high school or post-secondary level is required.
