This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Gov’t Lending Annual Servicing Manager Team Lead is tasked with taking ownership of all responsibilities and challenges associated with their role.
• This position encompasses, but is not limited to, overseeing the ASM team and actively engaging in the request for financial statements and completing annual servicing for the Bank’s current Government Loan Portfolio.
• Additional responsibilities may involve assisting with loan servicing action requests and conducting site visits as deemed necessary.
• Oversee the annual servicing operations of the Government Guaranteed Lending Unit, which includes mentoring, instructing, and supporting other ASMs.
• Request financial and other supplementary information from the Relationship Manager or Borrower directly to update the bank’s credit files.
• Analyze the updated business and personal financial statements and perform a stand-alone and/or global cash flow analysis.
• Draft the annual servicing memo in accordance with established SSB guidelines.
• Submit the finalized annual servicing memo along with the original credit approval memo from SSB or the legacy institution to the SBA Credit Administrator.
• Address follow-up questions and unresolved items as necessary with the Gov’t Lending Servicing Manager, Relationship Manager, Borrower, and/or the SBA Credit Administrator.
• Enter risk rating modifications through the current tracking system adopted by the bank upon completion of the annual servicing.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is preferred to facilitate a solid understanding of financial statements and industry evaluations.
• A minimum of two years of experience in Gov’t Lending or a related field is required; management experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in personal computer usage, as well as Windows and Microsoft software applications, is necessary.
• Ability to prepare documents and draft business letters and memorandums is essential.
• Strong knowledge of business English, including spelling and punctuation, is required.
• Familiarity with office practices, procedures, and general office equipment is necessary.
