Government Contracts Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to organizations working with the Federal Government, concentrating on regulatory frameworks and associated risks.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related procurement guidelines.

• Offer counsel on compliance with export controls and relevant licensing matters.

• Oversee both prime and subcontracting relationships, which includes the negotiation of contracts.

• Familiarity with government and public sector contracting obligations, such as state procurement regulations.

• Deliver advice on cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10+ years in corporate legal practice, encompassing experience as an in-house attorney, serving as General Counsel and/or in another senior in-house legal position, alongside 3+ years of training at a law firm.

• Extensive legal expertise as a corporate generalist.

• Proven track record as a practical, business-oriented, and responsive legal partner.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school.

• Membership in the state bar of the state where you reside or practice.

• Specialized Expertise: Extensive experience in advising companies that contract with the Federal Government, focusing on navigating the distinct regulatory framework and risk landscape associated with government procurement.
