Government Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Assist the U.S. Government Compliance team in the daily operations and continuous improvement of the Collins U.S. Government Compliance Program.

• Investigate and analyze U.S. federal procurement laws and regulations, including FAR, DFARS, the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, the Procurement Integrity Act, and the Defense Priorities and Allocations System.

• Aid in the development, upkeep, and enhancement of compliance guidance, processes, procedures, and tracking metrics.

• Collaborate with internal teams on routine compliance inquiries and compliance-related tasks.

• Create and revise compliance reference materials, job aids, and content for playbooks.

• Address internal questions regarding government contract compliance.

• Assist in special projects and compliance initiatives.

• Prepare foundational compliance training and informational resources.

• Support compliance matters related to prime and subcontract across the organization.

• Limited domestic travel may be necessary as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Experience with U.S. Government contracting or similar regulatory environments.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to collaborate across various functions.

• Proven experience supporting the entire lifecycle of government contracts from creation to closeout.

• Familiarity with the requirements of the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act.

• Understanding of commercial products and services contracting procedures.

• Basic knowledge of cost/price principles or financial considerations in government contracting.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

• Limited domestic travel may be necessary.
