This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire contract and subcontract life cycle for Federal, State, Local, Education, and Commercial clients.
• Prepare, negotiate, and oversee NDAs, TAs, subcontracts, modifications to subcontracts, vendor agreements, and prime contract activities.
• Conduct flow-down analyses and implement the appropriate FAR/DFARS and agency clauses in subcontracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Analyze RFPs/RFQs and lead proposal business volumes, pricing strategies, and compliance deliverables (such as pricing, COI, representations & certifications, and risk assessments).
• Provide guidance to leadership and project teams on contractual rights, risks, obligations, and adherence to regulations (FAR/DFARS and agency supplements).
• Assist in the creation and execution of contracting policies, procedures, templates, and standard terms.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Accounting, Operations, BD/Proposal, HR) and liaise directly with Government officials (CO, DCAA, DCMA).
• Ensure proper maintenance of contract records, documentation, and readiness for audits; assist with DCAA/DCMA audits and pricing inquiries.
• Participate in corporate training, process enhancements, and compliance initiatives.
• Operate independently to proactively address challenges, support operational teams, and adhere to critical deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts, or a related discipline.
• At least 5+ years of experience in federal government contracting with direct responsibility for managing contracts and subcontracts.
• Comprehensive understanding of FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements, with experience across various contract types (such as FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, BPA, MAS/GSA, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability in drafting, analyzing, and negotiating subcontracts, prime contracts, NDAs, and TAs.
• Proficient in conducting flow-down analysis and applying necessary FAR/DFARS clauses to subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Experience in developing cost/pricing models, price proposals, compliance matrices, and business volumes.
• Competence in evaluating contractual risks, ensuring compliant proposal submissions, and guiding teams through the complete contract life cycle.
• Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management, particularly with senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with contract management or ERP systems (Unanet, Deltek, JAMIS, Salesforce) is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills; capable of handling multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
