This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Construct and set up Kubernetes workloads, which include GKE clusters and/or Helm chart deployments, alongside Google Cloud project environments utilizing Terraform baselines and tailored modules.
• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion workflows on Cloud Build.
• Deploy and manage Cloud Composer environments that cater to data engineering orchestration requirements.
• Provide support for Cloud Run deployments.
• Configure and uphold Google Cloud-native monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Create, maintain, and support deployment packages throughout system acceptance processes.
• Adhere to disciplined Git practices across infrastructure and deployment tasks.
• Diagnose issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams on architectural and delivery standards.
• Operate within established Dev/QA access boundaries while complying with security and operational protocols.
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and ticket-based delivery methodologies.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience with Terraform on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficient in building and maintaining infrastructure from an existing baseline and developing new Terraform modules.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including the setup and management of GKE clusters and Helm chart packaging and deployment.
• Familiarity with Cloud Run.
• Experience in deploying and managing Cloud Composer environments for orchestration purposes.
• Proven track record in implementing CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion workflows utilizing Cloud Build and Artifact Registry.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud-native monitoring, alerting, and logging via Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
• Strong understanding of Git fundamentals, including branching strategies, pull requests, and structured commit practices.
• Experience with documented designs, code reviews, and ticket-based delivery processes.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar.
• Proficient conversational English skills.
• Ability to maintain at least 4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours.
