This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Construct and configure GKE clusters alongside Google Cloud project environments utilizing an established Terraform baseline.
• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines as well as workflows for environment promotion.
• Set up and maintain Google Cloud-native monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Create, update, and support deployment packages throughout the system acceptance process.
• Adhere to disciplined Git practices, including branching, pull requests, and maintaining commit hygiene across infrastructure and deployment tasks.
• Diagnose issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines within designated environments.
• Work in conjunction with platform and engineering teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure implementation with overarching architecture and delivery standards.
• Function within established Dev/QA environment access limits while complying with relevant security and operational requirements.
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, code reviews, and ticket-based delivery workflows.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience utilizing Terraform on the Google Cloud Platform.
• Profound hands-on experience in setting up and managing GKE and Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and workflows for environment promotion.
• Familiarity with setting up and maintaining Google Cloud-native monitoring, alerting, and logging through Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
• Solid understanding of Git fundamentals, including branching strategies, pull requests, and systematic commit practices.
• Experience in structured engineering environments that include documented designs, code reviews, and ticket-based delivery processes.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code or similar, integrated into daily development workflows.
• Exceptional communication skills in English.
• Capability to maintain a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours.
• Conversational proficiency in English.
