Go Cloud Software Engineer – Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop new features.

• Conduct bug fixing on squad products.

• Present progress and engage in team meetings.

• Document developments, diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Ensure the quality and clarity of the delivered code.

• Depending on the squad you join, your tasks may include:

• Designing and implementing products that enable a DevOps platform based on open source (e.g., Argo, GitLab).

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Developing configuration and infrastructure deployment tools.

• Designing and implementing cloud solutions using technologies like Ceph and OpenStack.

• Automating deployments using Ansible playbooks.

• Designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments on Kubernetes.

• Implementing and maintaining cluster management and application deployment tools (Docker, Helm).

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in software development using Go.

• Knowledge of data structures, OOP, computational complexity, design patterns, and concurrency.

• Intermediate Linux skills.

• Basic commands, file manipulation, networking, etc.

• Experience with Shell scripting (Bash).

• Intermediate Docker knowledge.

• Experience in using and creating container images with Docker.

• Ability to create images using a Dockerfile.

• Understanding of the Docker container lifecycle.

• Basic Networking knowledge.

• Familiarity with networking and networks.

• Basic understanding of networks from a programming perspective (interfaces, sockets, ports, etc.).

• Intermediate Git skills.

• Familiarity with the typical workflow of add, commit, push.

• Knowledge of more advanced commands like rebase or cherry-pick.

• Ability to resolve conflicts.

• Intermediate English (Writing/Reading) skills.

• Experience in automation and infrastructure configuration using Ansible.

• Experience in infrastructure as code automation and management using Terraform.

• Experience working with Kubernetes, whether in cluster management or application deployment.
