GMT/Blanket Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Engages in construction projects, typically functioning in a utility capacity, by shifting between tasks as needed, showcasing a diverse skill set and the capability to work independently without close supervision through the performance of the following responsibilities.

• Responsible for loading and unloading tools or raw materials.

• Skilled in erecting scaffolding or other equipment.

• Familiarity with using air bags for lifting pipes in racks.

• Cuts, strips, and installs insulation on piping.

• Additional related tasks may be assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• At least one (1) year of directly related experience in the construction or oil & gas industry.

• Required insulation blanket/sewing experience in the construction sector.

• A valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the last three (3) years to qualify under the company's vehicle insurance policy.

• Must successfully complete a 40-hour OSHA Asbestos Mitigation course.

• Must pass a fit test to wear a respirator.
