Global Vice President Finance & Controlling / CFO – Business Unit Moulded Glass

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the BU CEO regarding all financial and strategic issues.

• Develop and implement the financial strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and shareholder expectations.

• Lead strategic initiatives, including portfolio optimization, investments, and growth programs.

• Hold full responsibility for M&A activities, encompassing evaluation, execution, and integration/separation.

• Enhance transparency and performance management through comprehensive KPI frameworks and business reviews.

• Identify and implement initiatives for margin improvement, cost efficiency, and cash optimization.

• Ensure disciplined capital allocation and value-driven decision-making processes.

• Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning processes.

• Provide high-quality reporting to Group and senior stakeholders.

• Uphold strong governance, compliance, and internal control standards.

• Manage liquidity, cash flow, and capital structure in accordance with Group guidelines.

• Engage with banks, investors, and financing partners to secure funding and enhance financial flexibility.

• Lead, develop, and transform an international finance organization.

• Cultivate a high-performance culture and promote strong cross-functional collaboration.

• Act as the primary interface with Group Finance, Executive Management, and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience in an international industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Demonstrated success in strategic finance, business partnering, and transformation initiatives.

• Strong M&A experience and capital markets exposure are highly desirable.

• Proven ability to operate within complex, matrix organizations.
