This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Execute the Clear to Build and Clear to Launch processes along with Standard Work to transport, track, and ensure that parts are delivered throughout the global supply chain to achieve upcoming weekly engine output targets.
• Identify and highlight emerging delivery issues both internationally and domestically, serving as the transportation escalation contact during the week and engaging appropriate stakeholders to mitigate delivery risks.
• Formulate and implement tailored logistics solutions to address expedited transportation needs within a complex global framework.
• Oversee customs-related requirements for international shipments, ensuring adherence to global customs regulations while minimizing delays in the supply chain.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize internal processes for fulfilling global supply chain requirements.
• Build relationships across the organization to enhance visibility into plans that necessitate logistics strategies, driving tactical and transactional improvements to meet demand.
• Utilize supplier metrics to create and implement process enhancements aimed at reducing shipment processing cycle times, as well as improving quality, productivity, and service capabilities.
• Support initiatives to enhance global transportation finances, address price fluctuations, maximize premium transportation usage, and improve on-time delivery performance.
• Empower operations teams by preparing both operational and financial performance metrics, leveraging global transportation digital solutions.
• Contribute to GE Aerospace’s transportation quality program by identifying gaps in transportation supplier processes and performance, and managing long-term improvements with suppliers.
• Establish and sustain relationships with supplier operations personnel to aid in defect resolution and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan and execute changes in operating practices that reduce overall operating costs while maintaining high service levels for both internal and external customers across the global supply chain.
• Collaborate with Customs and Transportation Operations to pinpoint cost-saving projects and effectively manage them through to completion and realization of savings.
• Promote adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures, and EHS standards.
• Strong, hands-on logistics operational experience is essential, encompassing both international and U.S. domestic transportation.
• In-depth knowledge of global customs requirements is crucial, including documentation, classification, and clearance procedures for international shipments.
• Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective & preventive action (RCCA / CAPA).
• Proficient in advanced MS Excel.
• Strong customer-focused service orientation, effectively balancing policies, procedures, and transportation objectives and goals.
• Proven capability to maintain schedules and meet deliverables in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing within a metrics-driven environment, including data compilation and analysis, and effectively addressing performance gaps.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• An operational background in supply chain or transportation is an asset.
