This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Oversee import and export operations in Chile and various Latin American nations.
• Ensure that all import/export processes adhere to customs and governmental agency regulations.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customs brokers and government entities.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes.
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with Parexel and local regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute operational and compliance procedures for the Global Trade Compliance function.
• Act as the primary liaison with customs brokers and logistics providers to facilitate efficient clearance.
• Prepare and submit import/export license applications that align with project specifications.
• Participate in project meetings to provide updates, address issues, and escalate matters to management as necessary.
• Monitor and manage import/export licenses, tracking quantities, expiration dates, and renewal schedules.
• Contribute to critical clinical research initiatives and global operations.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Proven track record of thriving in matrix environments and effectively collaborating across functional teams.

• Comprehensive knowledge of international trade within Clinical Trials or healthcare sectors.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and clinical development processes.
• Demonstrated experience in communicating with customs brokers and third-party logistics providers.
• Substantial experience collaborating with global virtual teams in cooperative environments.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with risk assessment and process improvement methodologies.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, pharmacy, a health-related discipline, international trade, or logistics.
