This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.
• Assist in ensuring that supplier activities, material procurements, and subcontracting adhere to U.S. Government regulations, company policies, and client contractual obligations.
• Analyze and implement FAR, DFARS, export controls, trade compliance, sanctions, and cybersecurity-related flow-down requirements.
• Aid in the formation and upkeep of supply chain compliance policies, procedures, and operational instructions.
• Evaluate customer contracts to identify clauses and obligations related to the supply chain.
• Ensure that contract terms and regulatory standards are appropriately communicated to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain documentation for compliance, certifications, and records necessary for audits.
• Engage in both internal and external audits pertaining to supply chain and procurement activities.
• Perform internal reviews and spot checks of purchase orders, subcontracts, and supplier documentation.
• Assist in investigating potential non-compliance incidents and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
• Support the training of supply chain and program teams.
• Offer compliance advice to buyers, subcontract administrators, and program staff.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance compliance processes, tools, and metrics, and assist in their deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant experience (preferred qualification).
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, contracts, compliance, or a related area within a defense contracting or highly regulated environment.
• Working familiarity with U.S. Government contracting, including FAR/DFARS.
• Direct experience with FAR/DFARS clauses relevant to supply chain and subcontracting.
• Experience in supplier risk assessment and due diligence processes.
• Background in supporting audits, internal controls testing, or internal investigations.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to interpret regulations and contractual language.
• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a degree of autonomy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
• Competence to set and accomplish goals individually and collaboratively within a team.
