📋 Description

• Collaborate with T&A, Payroll Operations, Product, and Implementation teams to incorporate country-specific labor law requirements (such as working time regulations, overtime rules, rest periods, collective bargaining agreements, and statutory accruals) into system design and configuration.

• Ensure compliance reviews are integrated within project lifecycles, covering requirements gathering, configuration validation, testing, and go-live readiness.

• Promote the importance of embedding compliance from the beginning instead of addressing it post-implementation.

• Work alongside country compliance and legal experts to interpret statutory obligations (including maximum working hours, mandatory breaks, overtime calculations, accrual logic, and record retention).

• Convert legislative requirements into precise system configuration rules, technical specifications, and operational controls.

• Transform complex legal language into actionable requirements that Product and Operations teams can consistently implement.

• Act as the primary compliance contact for all T&A-related initiatives, ensuring alignment between Compliance, Product, Payroll Operations, and Implementation teams.

• Establish governance checkpoints and review processes to maintain regulatory alignment without hindering delivery timelines.

• Define global standards while accommodating specific legal requirements of different countries.

• Identify compliance gaps or control weaknesses proactively to prevent operational or regulatory exposure.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess potential impacts.

• Recommend practical corrective actions, prioritize remediation efforts, and escalate significant risks when necessary.

• Coordinate internal and external audit requests concerning Time & Attendance systems and processes.

• Partner with country compliance experts and operational stakeholders to gather thorough, accurate, and defensible documentation.

• Ensure timely delivery of audit evidence and control documentation.

• Track remediation actions resulting from audit findings until closure.

• Develop and maintain T&A compliance documentation, including control narratives, process maps, risk registers, and change logs.

• Establish documentation standards that ensure processes are transparent, traceable, and ready for audits across all operating countries.

• Ensure compliance impact assessments are integrated into system and process change management.
