Global Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• You will oversee the test management function for o9 EOP and other significant transformation initiatives, ensuring that quality is integrated into every phase of delivery.

• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and platform vendors, you will define and implement a comprehensive testing framework that encompasses functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Define and take ownership of the complete test strategy, test plans, and testing governance framework for large-scale ERP and planning transformation projects, including o9 Wave deployments across NALA, MEU, and AMEA.

• Lead and manage all testing phases, which include System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and validation of Go-Live readiness.

• Design, develop, and sustain automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium and TOSCA, ensuring optimal test coverage and reusability throughout program cycles.

• Oversee and manage testing cycles from start to finish — including test case creation, defect logging, triage, resolution tracking, and exit criteria sign-off — utilizing industry-standard test management tools.

• Cultivate relationships with various stakeholders, including business leads, process owners, technical architects, and vendor teams, ensuring alignment on quality standards, timelines, and testing results.

• Establish and uphold defect management processes, ensuring prompt escalation, prioritization, and resolution of critical defects in collaboration with development and platform teams.

• Spearhead UAT exit approval processes, coordinating with business stakeholders to obtain sign-offs and document evidence of test completion for program governance.

• Promote continuous improvement in testing practices by implementing automation, optimizing test cycles, and decreasing manual testing efforts over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in QA and software testing roles, with at least 4–5 years in a test lead or test manager position on large transformation programs.

• A proven track record of successfully leading UAT exit approvals and Go-Live readiness validations for enterprise platform projects.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and reporting to senior stakeholders across business and IT in a global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with both Selenium and TOSCA automation frameworks is essential.
