Global Technical Specialist, Clinical PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-line support to PT participants via email regarding technical inquiries and requests related to the PT reporting system, PORTAL.

• Assist the Global Technical Manager in the planning, coordination, and upkeep of PT round and shipping schedules.

• Aid in the setup of the PT program, management of customer orders, and configuration of rounds within the IFS and PORTAL systems.

• Contribute to the creation and review of technical documents, including participant instructions.

• Support the review and approval process of statistical analyses and evaluation decisions, including technical summaries, expert commentary, and interpretive content required for PT program reports.

• Stay informed about technical advancements in the clinical laboratory: help identify new proficiency products to address industry requirements.

• Maintain knowledge of ISO/IEC 17043 standards.

• Utilize appropriate document control measures to assist in ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17043 requirements.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

• ASCP certification or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience in Proficiency Testing.
