Global Technical Engineering Specialist – Property

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the formulation of technical risk engineering guidelines, bulletins, processes, and tools.

• Stay updated with current industry knowledge regarding losses and explore new technologies and emerging risks.

• Provide assistance with intricate technical property inquiries and plan evaluations.

• Conduct research on technical issues where industry guidance is limited or nonexistent.

• Lead training and development initiatives within risk engineering, underwriting, and for external clients and organizations.

• Oversee training enrollment and maintain participation records.

• Manage the libraries for training and technical guidelines.

• Collaborate with the Head of Technical Services and Risk Engineering Managers to enhance the development of systems and process efficiencies.

• Supervise and guide the development of risk engineering tools.

• Engage in external technical and industry groups (NFPA, CFPS, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent industry knowledge.

• At least fifteen (15) years of experience in highly protected risk, specialized industry, and/or boiler and machinery fields.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various commercial property occupancies, including light hazard and heavy industrial settings.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Willingness and ability to travel for client and account meetings, as well as technical conferences when required.

• Soft Skills: Highly motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.

• Hard Skills: Professional Engineer, Certified Fire Protection Specialist designation, or a similar qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
