Global Regulatory Legal Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary legal authority for Binance’s regulatory matters on a global level, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across various jurisdictions and managing related legal risks internationally.

• Formulate and implement Binance’s worldwide regulatory legal strategy, in line with changing international laws, directives, and regulatory frameworks within the cryptocurrency and financial services industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in a prominent jurisdiction with extensive international regulatory legal expertise.

• At least 15 years of experience in regulatory legal positions, ideally within technology, financial services, or cryptocurrency sectors.

• Proven track record in handling complex regulatory compliance challenges and interacting with regulatory bodies across various jurisdictions globally.

• In-depth understanding of global financial products, including spot and derivatives trading, payment systems, and digital assets.

• Demonstrated capability to devise and implement global regulatory strategies in a rapidly changing and highly regulated landscape.

• Experience in leading and managing high-performing legal teams across different regions.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to foster trusted relationships with regulators, business executives, and external legal advisors.

• Comprehensive understanding of the cryptocurrency sector and its regulatory environment worldwide.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Strong business insight paired with a practical and solution-oriented mindset towards regulatory issues.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving, and high-pressure setting, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
