This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Responsible for overseeing the governance operating cycle along with its associated timelines.
• This includes managing scope of works, change requests, renewal schedules, project change control, and contingency planning.
• Implements the cadence and operational mechanisms that teams adhere to, ensuring consistency across the account.
• Plays a vital role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and providing frameworks and processes for operational excellence across all locations.
• Leads the execution of new site program implementations, overseeing multiple workstreams, including governance reporting and managing all facets of project delivery on schedule, within budget, and considering resource management.
• Aids in the preparation and support of the broader team during monthly or quarterly meetings with the customer and the global OneSource team, ensuring that schedule, scope, change management, financials, and KPIs are thoroughly reviewed.
• Responsible for managing action items arising from business reviews and operational forums.
• Escalates performance issues and requests for program assistance to OneSource senior leadership or the customer, as necessary.
• Establishes and leads regularly scheduled program management meetings with internal back office functions at PerkinElmer to oversee the program.
• Cultivates a program culture centered on honesty, hard work, commitment to the customer, and business growth through effective execution.
• Identifies and coordinates activities aimed at process improvements and renewing existing business.
• Ensures consistency of company processes and best practices across all global locations where applicable.
• Develops or customizes processes that align with customer requirements for all aspects of the OS program, including invoicing, change control, opportunities for program scope expansion, delivery of entitlements, managing service providers, and integrating with the customer’s internal communication processes.
• Over 3 years of experience in a Program Manager or Project Manager role.
• Experience collaborating with global teams in a matrix environment.
• Background in operational roles within a Laboratory setting.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills.
• Previous experience utilizing problem-solving frameworks or change management methodologies to drive complex issues to resolution.
• Leadership experience with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills is crucial, reinforced by effective team management capabilities and a positive, team-oriented approach.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, along with PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project; knowledge of Power BI and Smartsheets is also required.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for productivity enhancement.
• Project Management Professional Certification is required.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
