This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more states.
• Lead the global growth strategy for Accounting & Tax, encompassing revenue, win rates, retention, and expansion.
• Act as the senior product authority for Accounting & Tax in key engagements, proposals, decisions, and escalations.
• Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams to assess opportunities, shape scope and pricing, and convert or grow accounts.
• Define packaging, bundling, premiums, pricing guidelines, and other commercial frameworks.
• Oversee global scope, service definitions, execution standards, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
• Convert market trends and customer needs into service design, product roadmaps, and delivery model decisions.
• Establish the global operating model and process standards; approve processes, SOPs, and control frameworks.
• Guide the Global Process Manager on process design, standardization, controls, and scalability.
• Support enterprise AI strategy and implementation within Accounting & Tax.
• Manage cost-to-serve, productivity, efficiency, margins, and long-term economic viability.
• Lead Regional Product Owners and Outsourcing Control leads, holding them responsible for delivery results and financial outcomes.
• Develop product, commercial, and delivery capabilities across the global Accounting & Tax team.
• Govern product scope, service tiers, commercial updates, catalog mapping, SKU registration, and pricing alignment.
• Establish the global compliance framework across IFRS, local GAAP, tax laws, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance in all jurisdictions served.
• Engage with internal and external audit on product-level issues.
• Collaborate with the Chief Delivery Officer, fellow Global Product Owners, Revenue, Technology, and Delivery enabling functions.
• Represent Accounting & Tax in cross-functional and executive discussions.
• Drive performance metrics including revenue growth, win rates, retention, NRR, margins, cost-to-serve, SLA attainment, quality, and NPS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 15 years of experience in accounting, tax, or finance operations.
• Minimum of 5 years managing a product, service line, or regional/global function from start to finish.
• Experience in a Managing Director-level leadership role.
• Proven track record in driving revenue, win rates, retention, and expansion.
• Experience managing a service-line P&L, focusing on cost-to-serve, productivity, margins, and pricing strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting across various regions.
• Background in designing service standards, commercial logic, packaging, bundling, premiums, and pricing frameworks.
• Strong client-facing and business development skills.
• Experience leading senior delivery and product leaders across multiple regions.
• Deep market insight and ability to adapt services based on trends and customer needs.
• Process-oriented with a track record of establishing global standards.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and unit economics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage executive-level stakeholders.
• Proficient in Xero and other ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted tools and automation.
• Preferred: CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification.
• Preferred: experience as a product/service line leader in global outsourced accounting, corporate services, Big Four advisory, or managed services.
• Preferred: experience in leading a P&L turnaround, transformation, or in-housing initiative.
• Experience in an EoR, PEO, or global business services environment.
