This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as a genuine subject matter expert for the designated country or region.
• Participate in Sales calls as the Country Payroll Lead.
• Engage in Sales hand-over, Lead client hand-over, and client kick-off calls.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of global payroll implementation projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Manage the process from inception through Parallel runs and the first month of ‘Live’ payroll before transferring to Payroll Operations.
• Ensure all decisions made during the implementation process are documented, providing Payroll Operations with complete visibility, including any necessary Standard Operating Procedures for ‘Business As Usual’.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
• Act as the primary contact for all stakeholders involved in the implementation process, including internal teams and customers.
• Develop and standardize payroll processes, project plans, and procedures to guarantee consistency and efficiency.
• Offer continuous support during and after the implementation phase to address any issues or challenges.
• Assist the broader implementation team (including Payroll Generalist) and operations team.
• Maintain a focus on KPIs and SLAs.
• Proficient in implementing and enhancing processes.
• Capable of mentoring, supporting, and leading Payroll Generalists who will work alongside you.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance our platform, conduct UAT testing, and ensure all changes are documented.
• Extensive experience in payroll within a client payroll environment.
• In-depth legislative knowledge relevant to the respective Country.
• Experience in payroll implementation.
• Strong communication skills for articulating payroll processes and issues to customers and other stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local payroll tools and software, such as SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets.
• An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment with a drive to make a significant impact.
• Experience in accounting and reconciliations.
• Productivity enthusiast who consistently seeks ways to improve and accelerate work processes.
• Understanding of the necessity and ideal of primarily working asynchronously.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• While remote work experience is not mandatory, it is viewed as a plus.
