This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and oversee a robust pipeline of new OEM and commercial supply opportunities.
• Lead and enhance existing OEM and licensing partner accounts, managing revenue and performance objectives.
• Take ownership of forecasting, demand alignment, and purchase order delivery in collaboration with Sales Operations.
• Act as the primary alliance manager, facilitating business reviews, addressing issues, and ensuring the long-term success of partnerships.
• Assist in deal structuring, term sheets, contracts, and negotiations, offering market-specific insights for commercial and licensing agreements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to guarantee successful onboarding, execution, and alignment with the global OEM strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business; an MBA or M.S./Ph.D. is advantageous.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in commercial and/or business development, including the identification and validation of strategic business opportunities in the life sciences and clinical diagnostics sector.
• Genomics experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in an out-licensing or OEM supply role is highly desirable.
• A demonstrated track record of success in commercial positions.
• Capability to collaborate across functions to drive deals and achieve results.
• A customer-centric business philosophy is essential.
• Ability to cultivate new, long-term relationships.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, technical expertise, and negotiation skills; executive presence is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to adapt to geographic and cultural differences; able to communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds.
